Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma Mobraten
We spent Chirstmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Mobraten. Peyton was very well taken care of. He is sporting his new Red Tricycle. With a little help from Amara he can go anywhere.

Snowman
Peyton and I went outside yesterday and played in the snow. We built our first snowman of the year. It is not to good looking because the snow wasn't quite sticky enough yet. But we had a good time

Christmas Train
On Sunday night the Christmas Train came through Rochester. It was a very cold night but we decided that it was worth it. Peyton is a HUGE train fan. He had so much fun. There was a ton of people there and the train was beautiful.

Santa was even on the train. They stopped and did a whole concert on the tracks. We had so much fun. Peyton loved dancing to the music.
Here is a video of the train coming in. I am sorry that it is pretty dark . You can hear Peyton waiting for the train.

Walking and riding...
We spent some time over the holiday at Grandma DelRae's and Grandpa Bill's house. We took advantage of the georgeous day on Saturday and went for a walk in the country. Peyton got to ride in his new wagon (it was supposed to be for Christmas but we broke down and used it on Saturday).
Turkey Day
Waterpark
We met the Asleson's in Owatonna for a night of fun at the waterpark. The kids (and adults) had a wonderful time.

(if you look closely you can see two sets of feet in the air) At one point I wasn't sure if they were going to make it out of the water after the big splash.

Pa Rum Pum Pum Pum
I am really excited for Christmas this year. I think it is because Peyton is going to have so much fun. He is at and age where he loves to be around others and loves to open gifts (as we found out at his cousin's birthday party yesterday).
So we decorated the house for Christmas this afternoon. Now, this is the EARLIEST we have ever done this but since we are going to be out of town most of the week next week we thought what the heck. We put on some Christmas music to set the mood and we got started.

Peyton enjoyed his first sucker ever! Only, they make me a little nervous so I made him sit down while he ate it. He didn't seem to mind because he was entertained by Jeremy and I getting the tree up and putting up lights.
Peyton even put some bulbs on the tree. He didn't quite understand that we leave them on there. So, he kept taking them off.
He finally had to be removed from the tree so that he wouldn't destroy it.

Playing with Grandpa
We took at quick trip to Red Wing on Saturday night to test out our new truck. Peyton loved playing with Amara and Grandpa.
He thought it was so funny when Amara pulled Grandpa's hood off his face.
Day with Brynn
The Asleson's came down to visit on Friday night and Saturday. It was so nice to have them around. Jen and I took Brynn and Peyton (P as Brynn calls him) to get their Second Annual Christmas Picture taken. The pictures were a bit tough with two toodlers but we really enjoyed having them around.
Sadly to say this is the only picture that I got of the both of them. They had a very fun time coloring.

Little Stinker
Peyton had a wonderful Halloween. He walked around all of the houses on the park. We were very impressed with how well he did, and how long he stayed out. He did say "treat" to a couple of houses and he took the candy and put it in his bucket. He really had no idea what the point of the whole thing was. Since he has never had a taste of chocolate he was not a bit interested in the candy, but his dad was.
