December 2010 in a Nutshell

December is almost gone and I haven't posted all month. There has been a lot of events over the past month that have made me laugh, smile and even cry. I have realized this month that life is really too short and it is important to take a good look at what you have and cherish it.We are so blessed to have these two wonderful boys in our life.

Here are some of my FAVORITE shots this past month as we approached, celebrated and rememeber Christmas 2010.

The Boys

We spent tons of time in the 42+ inches of snow in Rochester ( and got a couple of days off to spend at home too- I love being a teacher)

Peyton and Landon also got to go for a sled ride in New Germany with thier uncles and Krissy.

Played with tons of toys and opened up way too many presents.

Spent some more time with the big guy

Peyton even got to "train and ride" his reindeer.

(if you can't tell, Peyton is Santa holding the reins and Krissy is the reindeer)

We all also ate WAY to much food.

Merry Christmas 2010!

Naughty or Nice?

Who do you think made which list?

Lumberjacks

We finally talked Jeremy into getting a real Christmas tree this year. So, Tuesday night Jeremy and I spent our Anniversary with our two favorite boys picking out the perfect tree. The boys were thrilled to ride along side it in the truck.

Who Wouldn't Want to Wake Up With These Two?

Lately Peyton has loved to go in to wake up Landon in the mornig. One day over Thanksgiving break Peyton wanted to get into bed with him. I had to let him.

Walk A Mile in My Shoes..Or Boots

I can home from the mall on Monday night with some new boots. Peyton LOVED them. He loved them so much he ripped them out of the box and had to try them for himself...

Dancin' Machine

On Saturday we headed back to Red Wing to go to Sam's( my step- brother)wedding reception. We all had a great time. Peyton had the time of his life dancing to many all time favorites such as: The Chicken Dance and The Hokey Pokey.

Trees and Lights

This past weekend our family headed down to the Civic Center to tour the Festival of Trees. The boys liked the trees, but really liked the cookies at the end!
