Boston- July 2011

Last week I had the opportunity to go to Boston and visit my brother Jason, his wife Sarah and thier sweet boy Silas. Because of the distance between Rochester and Boston I hadn't had the chance to meet my only nephew yet. I was fortunate to be able to spend 6 days on the East Coast with my brother, his family and my dad!

We had a great time. Jason and Sarah did an amazing job of hosting us at thier house, showing us around town and making us lots of delicious food. Everyday we had the something new planned. We did a TON of walking. We saw the harbor, the city, the beach and much, much more.

But most important we got to spend tons of time with sweet Silas. I loved seeing us little personality. He is such a happy boy with a smile that lights up the room! He does a lot of talking (which I am sure he gets from his dad, hahaha). While we were there were able to celebrate Silas's 1st Birthday. He had a great time with the presents and the cake!

I am so thankful that we were able to go out and spend some time with them. Thanks Jason and Sarah for having us!

What makes you think I was trying to get a taste of Landon's blueberry yogurt during breakfast this morning?

Let's Play Ball

Peyton participated in his first session of T- Ball this past month. It was a huge success. He learned how to stretch, hit from a tee, run the bases and how to field the ball! It was amazing how fast 4 year olds catch on to these concepts.

Summer Fun!

The summer is flying by. It is already well into July. The boys and I have been having a blast. There are some nights that Jeremy will say "I think you and the boys should stay around the house tomorrow", only because they are so tired from the events of the day. I love to GO, GO, GO so much that when Peyton gets up in the morning he always asks " Mom, what are we going to do today?" Here are some of the things that have made the hi-light reel.

Water Fun!

We have started to not only play in the pool but hook the slide to the Slip and Slide and glide down the hill! I am a little jealous my behind doesn't fit on the slide because it looks like a blast.

We have done a couple of trips to the zoos around. We are lucky to live close enough to the cities to travel there and have one smaller, local zoo a few miles from our house.

We have hung out as a family or with friends in the backyard!

Again this summer I feel so lucky to once again be home with the boys. We are looking forward to the next month and a half!
