We finally are back. I haven't posted in over 6 weeks because about 5 weeks ago I might have gotten sand into our camera at the beach causing it not to open or shut anymore. So, luckily it was time for a new camera anyway. So this week we purchased a new camera, so let the picture taking begin again!
It was a beautiful weekend so we decided to take full advantage of the high 70 degree weather in mid- September and take the boat out on the Mississippi. We met the Nelsons at our new favorite beach right outside of Red Wing. Jeremy thought it was a good time to see how Mattie responded to the water. Well, she truely is a water dog. She loved every minute of it. For the 2+ hours we were there she ran in and out of the water and up and down the beach. She loved playing in the waves.

Peyton thought he was so funny running around the beach with my sunglasses. I acutally thought he looked pretty cute.
Peyton also loved laying on his belly and playing in the sand. I ahve a feeling that this might be the last time for 2009 that we will see him doing this.
This was the two in the back seat on the way home. Both Peyton and the dog were asleep before we hit the highway home.
