Thomas

So Peyton has developed a foundness for Thomas the Train. He got a new train set from Santa for Christmas. It is amazing how one little round track and a couple of trains can keep a boy busy for hours. He litterly hasn't played with anything else. Thomas even has to sit on his tray when he eats.

Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma Mobraten

We spent Chirstmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Mobraten. Peyton was very well taken care of. He is sporting his new Red Tricycle. With a little help from Amara he can go anywhere.

Peyton and Amara played so hard before opening gifts they had to take a break to wet the whistle.
Peyton had so much fun running around Cindy's house . Here is a shot of him. It is a little blurry because he was running. You can see from the side how excited he was.

Santa visted on Christmas Eve. This is about as close as he would get to the big guy.

I'm Popeye the Sailor Man

Peyton recieved a beautiful shirt from Grandma DelRae for Christmas. It is quite funny to see him running around the house with the shirt on.

I took off his pants so that you could get the full effect.

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Swanson's

We spent that last weekend celebrating Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Swanson and uncles Jordan and Davis. Peyton had so much fun. He was constantly trying to be chased by his uncles.

Peyton lined up all of the cars in his toy basket without any help. I had to take a picture because I was very impressed.

Peyton got a new truck and many other toys. He was a pretty lucky kid. Grandma kept letting him open up a gift every couple of hours. He has her wrapped around his finger:)

Weight lifting

Uncle Davis used Peyton as part of his weight lifting workout this weekend. Peyton thought it was a great.

Snowman

Peyton and I went outside yesterday and played in the snow. We built our first snowman of the year. It is not to good looking because the snow wasn't quite sticky enough yet. But we had a good time

A boy after his mom's heart

Peyton recently discovered his love of Lefse. He is a boy after my heart. A true Norwegian.

Christmas Train

On Sunday night the Christmas Train came through Rochester. It was a very cold night but we decided that it was worth it. Peyton is a HUGE train fan. He had so much fun. There was a ton of people there and the train was beautiful.

Peyton and Jeremy looking for the train.

Santa was even on the train. They stopped and did a whole concert on the tracks. We had so much fun. Peyton loved dancing to the music.

Here is a video of the train coming in. I am sorry that it is pretty dark . You can hear Peyton waiting for the train.

Cookies Day 1

On Thursday we spent the day baking cookies with Grandma DelRae. Peyton enjoyed himself and did a lot of taste testing.

Here is a picture of the final product(s)...

Cookies Day 2

This weekend we got together with the Exner family to make cookies with all of the little kids. Peyton had a great time.

He decided it was more fun to eat the dough and frosting then make or decorate cookies.

After cookie making we went to visit Grandpa. Peyton found a dancing and singing snowman. As you can see Peyton and Amara even got Grandpa to dance with them:)
