Wonderful Weekend

This weekend was perfect. We spent so much time outside. On Saturday Jeremy was getting the boat ready for a Sunday on the river. He invited out neighbors for a little test run at the local lake. But before they were able to go out they found a problem so the boat plans would have to be delayed. Needless to say our neighbor boy was pretty disappointed. So, his dad decided to bring out the Bonsai so the kids could play instead.

As you can see you might be a little hesitant to let your 2 year old Dare-devil go down a slide like that (no that is not Peyton, that is the 8 year old neighbor kid).

So we improvised. The big kids played on the BIG Bonsai and the little kids played on the Little "Bonsai" (aka Peyton's Little Tykes Slide and Slip and Slide). They played for hours. No one even missed the boat.

On Sunday morning we went for a long hike. We tested out the new rig for Peyton. He loved to ride on his dad's back but he is 32lbs. so the stroller went along also.

Peyton loved the park we stopped at during our hike. We couldn't get him off of the Motorcycle.

Softball Mishap

Last Thursday Peyton and I decided on a whim to go to see Daddy play softball in Red Wing. We packed up, made a quick stop by Grandpa's and then off to the field we went. Peyton being the crazy boy that he is, was running around like usual. Well, to make a long story short he slipped and fell into the bench. We ended up in the E.R in Red Wing that night. We opted for the Dermabond( loke superglue for skin) instead of stitches and this is what his forehead looks like as he is healing. Poor guy.
