Fun Packed Weekend

On Friday Jeremy took the day off and we headed to the beach on the boat. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. We invited the Asleson crew along for a day of fun in the sun. The kids had a wonderful time. Brynn was very good about showing Peyton the ropes of playing in the sand and Peyton showed Brynn how to swim on the river.

Peyton LOVES the water and loves it more when daddy splashes around with him.

On Saturday we went to Red Wing for Noah's birthday party at Colvill park. Peyton loved the new playground. It was hard to keep up with him and even harder for this pregnant mom to climb through the tunnels after him.

He tried to make friends with the 6 year olds at the party. As you can see he is sitting alone. He did go to sit in-between two boys but as soon as he sat down by them they quickly found another spot. You can see one of the boys leaving. Peyton was still happy as could be.

Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to try to catch a quick nap. We were pleasantly surprised that Missy had the girls over there too. Peyton got to spend some quality time with his cousin Alana. He even gave her kisses. Alana is getting so big. She is such a happy, smiley baby.

County Fair

Last Thursday night we ventured out to the Olmsted County Fair. Peyton had a blast looking at all of the animals. He absolutely had to touch every one of them.

One of my previous students found us among the crowd and even took this chicken out of it's pen so that Peyton could have an up close look. He loved it.

As we headed through the food vendors we ran into our neighbors and their sweet little girl Kallie. Peyton and Kallie play together about 5 times a week so of course they went on a couple or rides together.

Both Peyton and Kallie loved the Carousel.

Then the kids finished off the night on the car ride. It was a tramatic ending because both of the kids were heart broken that they couldn't go again on the cars. We ended up with two crying kids. Don't they look cute together?
