"We goin to the zoo"

This morning we took our first trip of the season to the Zollman Zoo that is about 5 miles from our house. Peyton was so excited to see the bear. He kept yelling with excitement from the truck "we goin to the zoo."

Being the social butterfly that he is, he made friends with in minutes with a little girl at the bear exhibit. He kept telling her that a bear says "rawrrr."
He made sure that both Jeremy and I didn't miss an animal. He pointed to every animal.

He got right in this calf's face. He also yelled "moo" just in case the calf didn't know what he was supposed to say.

He fed the goats.

And posed for a picture with his mom.

Friends

Peyton loves, loves, loves playing with other kids. Last night we had some friends over to our house for a Memorial Day Weekend BBQ. Peyton loved playing with Evan. I got this great picture of the boys as Evan was leaving last night.

Last weekend Brynn came down on Saturday and spent the day with us. It is amazing how well they play together. We had to take a trip to the park so Peyton could do a little showing off of his little friend. It was a cold day but it didn't matter to these two.

Picking Flowers

For Mother's Day my mom, Bill and two of my brothers came down for the day. I couldn't resist posting this picture of Davis and Peyton displaying so proudly the "flowers" that they picked from the park!

Why would a 2 year old be waiting so patiently?

A couple weekends ago we traveled to Fargo for my Grandmothers 75th birthday party. At the party Peyton sat patiently....
