MN Zoo

We met the Asleson family at the MN Zoo this morning. We had a great time. Brynn and Peyton sure had fun together running around the Tropics Trail.

Can't you just see from the picture all the things that are going through Brynn's head such as:

" Help, he's touching me again," or "I can't look, it is too embarrassing," or "You all really think I am going to marry this guy?"

I LOVE this picture. Cara, Brynn and Peyton all loved the fish.

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl

Happy Birthday to my niece Alana who turned 1 on February 21! We went to Red Wing last weekend to help celebrate.

Of course Peyton, Amara and Grandpa had to fit in a little rough-housing. You should have heard the giggles.

Happy Birthday Maile!

This afternoon we attended a birthday party for my cousin Sarah Anne's little girl Maile. She is 3, and cute as can be. As I was downloading pictures I realized that I didn't get a single one of the birthday girl- how sad.

She had a swimming party at a hotel in town. What a great idea!

Peyton had a blast! He got to see his cousins and swim. Two of his favorite things.

Landon, 12 weeks

Landon had his 3 month pictures taken. He was such a trooper. It is amazing to me how fast he is growing.

Some of my personal favorites from home.

He is growing like a weed and is always as happy as can be! We have been blessed with such a good baby. He is sleeping about 8-9 hours a night before waking to eat and then goes right back to sleep. Who knew that babies slept? We sure didn't until Landon joined us. He had is first "official" day at daycare since I went back to work on Friday. He was perfect and he got a wonderful report.

Even though I was sick for a majority of the pregnancy I would do it all over again if I knew I was getting a baby that is as wonderful as him.

We have a giggler!

Landon let out quite a few giggles last night when he was watching his big brother jump around. He had been trying the last week and last night he let it go (10 weeks).

Big Boy

This past week we pulled out the "Big Boy" toys for Landon. He has a very strong neck but hates being on his tummy. So for a change of scenery I took out the exersaucer and the Bumbo. He is getting so big.

The Bumbo is a little more difficult for him to sit in for an extended period of time. After a few minutes he starts to look like a drunken sailor with his head bobbing all over the place.

Weekend Away

This past weekend the boys and I traveled to Fergus Falls for the Mobraten Christmas gathering. It was a long drive but the boys did fantastic!

Landon got to meet Great Grandpa and Grandma Mobraten. Landon was a little under the weather but he was a very good sport.

While we were traveling through the state Jeremy was ice fishing with some of this friends. He actually caught some fish this year!
