Vikings Fans!

The boys were all decked out to cheer on the Vikings tonight!

Landon was very excited for the game to begin.

But, then decided it was a better use of his time just to sleep.

Jeremy was pretty upset, but maybe next year????

Love of Dinosaurs

Peyton has taken an interest in Dinosaurs lately.
Here his is showing Mattie a picture of a T- Rex. She looks pretty interested.

He also loves spending time with his dad putting together his dino puzzles.

Date With Mommy- Take 2

Peyton LOVES to swim, so this week on our "date" I took him swimming at the REC center.

He we so excited to get his life jacket on in the locker room.

He was not scared of the water at all. I couldn't get any pictures of him in the water because I was the only one with him.

After an hour of swimming you are never too old to warm up with your Frog Towel. He had a blast and so did the old ladies that were swimming laps. They loved to stop and watch him in the water.

Look At ME!!!

Every time I try to get a picture of this guy...

this guy yells "Look at ME". I think that not having all the attention after more than 2 years of undivided attention takes a tole on him some days.

Date with Mommy!

Today Peyton and I had a date. We haven't been able to spend much time together, just the two of us for about 2 months! Landon had his first day at daycare and Peyton stayed home with me.
We went to the House of Bounce in Rochester. It is a building with TONS of inflatable buildings for kids and adults to enjoy.

He loved bouncing all over the place. He kept saying "Momma look at me!"
He took many chances to climb ladders and then slide down the other side.

Suddenly two hours had gone by and my little boy was a sweaty mess- so was his mom. Look at those red cheeks!

We ended the morning with a juice box.

We had a great time. I am so lucky to be able to spend time with him like this. We have another date scheduled for next Friday. I can't wait!

2 Month Stats!

This morning Landon had his 8 week well child exam. Here are his numbers.

Weight- 11lbs. 7 oz (56 Percentile)

Length- 22 inches (37 Percentile)

Head Circumference- 39cm ( 36 Percentile)

His Newborn stats were this:

Weight- 6lbs 14oz (25 Percentile)

Length- 20 1/4 inches (78 Percentile)

Head Circumference- 34cm (24 Percentile)

The Dr. is pretty sure that they measured is length a little wrong when he was born because at his 1 week appointment he was actually shorter. But, we all know that length doesn't run in the family... And, his Eckhoff melon hasn't caught up to him yet. But, if he is anything like his dad and brother it will!

He is a growing, healthy boy! He had his shots and is sleeping the day away now.

Happy Boy!

Our baby boy smiled for the 1st time today and we were able to catch a couple on the camera.

Happy New Year!

Once again we spent New Years with the Asleson's. We had a great time with some great friends.

Our New Year's Eve celebrations have sure changed due to these four cuties. It is amazing to think that 3 years ago it was just the four of us, now we have doubled.

A celebration with the Asleson's is never complete unless there is some jumping on the bed!

1st Time Bowler

This past Wednesday we were on our way to meet the Asleson's at the waterpark when we turned back towards home because the roads were not in the best of shape. Peyton was so excited to see Brynn and go swimming that we knew we had to find something else to do. We took him bowling for the very first time. He LOVED it!

He bowled from the ramp.

He bowled from the floor!

He stopped to get a drink of water.

He had a great score! Jeremy was a little intimidated by our scores so we HAD to play a second game. He of course blew us away. I think the bumpers helped him a lot.

Landon also enjoyed bowling from his carseat.
