Gone Fishing.

Jeremy was up North on his annual "Ice Fishing" weekend for President's Day weekend. The boys and I stayed home and had LOTS of plans but because of the snow storm that we recieved over the weekend most of our plans changed. We had a fabulous week anyways inside.

On Saturday Grandma DelRae came down for the day to see the boys. She of course spoiled them with lots of hugs, kisses and play time. Peyton and Grandma also made homemade Chocolate Cookies together. I am pretty sure that Peyton ate over half of the dough because everytime Grandma turned around Peyton had his had in the bowl.

After Saturday we stayed home the rest of the weekend. The boys had a blast playing together. Peyton also had his friend Cam over for a playdate. Luckily he lives across the street so there was no need to drive anywhere. Peyton and Cam played "hockey" for about an hour straight. Here is a shot of them sitting in the penalty box. They thought it was hilarious when they gave themselves a penalty.

We had a great weekend!

Tough Guys Wear Pink!

Last Friday it was PINK day at daycare. Last year on PINK day we just skipped it because there isn't an abundance of pink in this house. Well, I got a lot of comments last year that EVERYONE was wearing pink and he wasn't. So, this year I thought we would join in. I went to the store early in the morning to to try to find "plain" pink shirts for the boys. Well I found " somewhat plain" shirts they just had a V-neck and a little gathering on the sleeves. I still think my boys look adorable and this is as close to pink as we are going to get in this house of boys.

Still Winter

Well this winter has felt like it has gone on forever. Between the TONS of snow and the HORRIBLY cold weather it feels like we have spent way too much time indoors. This weekend has been beautiful so we were finally able to get outside again. Grandma Sandy, Ashley and Kaylee came down for dinner so I took all of the kids outside for a bit of sledding. Now, I hate to say it but it is quite possible we have the BEST sledding hill in our back yard in all of Rochester. The kids had a blast and I got a GREAT workout climbing up the hill over and over again with the 3 kids!

Jamboree!

Peyton had his hockey Jamboree this morning. It was a celebration of a great season. I am honestly so amazed with him. The first practice we weren't sure if we should go back. We thought that he was too young and hockey was too difficult for him right now. Well, he stuck with it and every week we saw a huge improvement in his his skating and his confidence.

The boys played a "game" this morning. They had shifts of 2 minutes on the ice. They were absolutely adorable.

He had his own fan base to cheer for him during the game. Coach Dad was out on the ice. Grandpa Mike, Tricia ( my good friend), Landon and I all watched from the stands.

After the "game" the kids all got a trophy and then had a reception together with cake and juice.

I am sad that it is over for the season but so excited for how well he did! I can't wait until next year.

Why Buy Toys?

When you can play with this?

He's Off!

It has been a big weekend at our house. 2 new teeth and a WALKER! This walking thing is something Landon really didn't want to rush into. Finally at almost 14 months he decided that it was time. We are all thrilled.

I took the boys to meet some friends at the House of Bounce on Monday. Not only did Landon show off his bouncing skills he also thought he was hot stuff walking all over the place. After 1.5 hours of bouncing you can see in his eyes how tired he was. It was nap time and time to go home but not without one more stroll through the place.

And then there were 4... Finally

Well they have finally shown up. We have been waiting for Landon's two top front teeth for the last 5 months. They both decided to peek through this past week. With them also came the following.
* Fever
* Irritability
* Sleepiness
* Constant drool

* you have to excuse the picture, he is very mobile and it is very hard to catch a good picture of his mouth
